Grizz

I made this image by scanning in my surroundings with my phone. Starting with my stuffed animal and bed sheets, I created a simple black and white photo. I then took scans of a fabric bulletin board and a torn up piece of paper to add more texture. 

I wanted to experiment with photo scanning and I am very proud of the result that it produced. I used photoshop to layer the images onto one another creating overlays and changing opacities. I feel that it represents something lost from childhood and I connect it with a sense of nostalgia.
