Love & Death

I made this poster in InDesign to test my typography. skills, specifically as an exercise to convey as much interest as possible while only using denotative font styles and no color. I used an essay that I wrote about my artistic influences as content for the poster. 

I really enjoyed this exercise because it was a huge limitation to only use denotative text and still make it look nice and eye-catching. I feel that it taught me a lot in poster making and I'm excited to work on more posters that will slowly incorporate images and color.
